Some where in the mid 1990’s the USA left the Industrial Age behind and entered the Information Age.  The Information Age has opened up new doors to infinite opportunities.  One of these opportunities is the ability to effortlessly communicate between one another – I like to call it “Fluid Communication”.   But you can only have fluid communication if your company is equipped for it.  It is amazing how many, builders, vendors and suppliers still don’t use the internet/email to communicate.    

Only builders who embrace the internet, emails and wireless broadband, which allow them to check emails, schedules and construction details anywhere from the office to the field, will be the ones that excel.  

My company utilizes wireless broadband and requires that every one associated with us be on-line, since this is how all of the bid packs and plans are distributed.   Homeowners love it also because if they have a quick question they can just email me and they get a quick response.  The good ol’ cell phone is still highly used and we do not discourage our team and homeowners to use them.
