Why does there have to be so many?
Have you ever noticed that almost every home being built today has a snout garage? A snout garage is when the front of the garage is closer to the street than the front of the house (side entry garages, even though are slightly more attractive, are still considered snouts). And it doesn’t seem to matter the price range either, $100K and up most all are snouts. One of my company’s missions is to build homes that do not have snout garages, and to this day we have been successful on all of them. Even as lots get smaller and the challenge gets tougher we still have been able to meet out goal. Instead of have a garage close to the street we have a covered front porch, which adds tremendous curb-appeal and a sense of community. By emphasizing the house instead of the garage our homeowners are able to say to their friends and family “Hey, come check out the house we bought!” not “Hey, come check out the garage we bought!” To check out our homes, not our garages visit my website at www.flynnerhomes.com or call me direct at 208-867-4587.
