Scott Flynn, Owner/Founder

Scott believes in actively doing better today than he did yesterday - by first understanding what is possible, then striding to achieve it.

Scott's mission is to improve the lives and prosperity of all that Flynner Homes touches, through cost-effective, sustainability-based design and construction.

Scott has coupled his knowledge of engineering with his passion for architecture, creating beautiful spaces that enhance his client's livelihood. He has spent the last decade developing a construction process that promotes the health of his clients, community, and environment, while making his clients money through energy efficiency.

He believes your home should be an environment of wellness and piece-of-mind, and that a home should not only better his client's health and well-being, but simultaneously improve the health of the environment (This is possible, we do it every day).

He assures that the Flynner reputation remains credible by living up to his slogan of "We don't compromise our values for financial gain". If a project entails unfair wages, damaging the environment, unsafe working conditions, or unsustainable materials and equipment, Flynner doesn't take the job.

Scott makes it fun and educational to design and build beautiful, comfortable, and healthy, while playing your part in making the world a better place.

Scott's credentials include:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, University of Idaho

  • Member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)

  • EPA Lead-Safe Certified Firm, Certification # NAT-32595-1

  • Certified Green Professional (CGP)

Hans Glenn, Owner

Hans has worked in the custom design and construction industry for over 20 years. His extensive experience, both in the classroom and on-site, gives him a complete picture of every project - not just how each house functions day to day, but how it fits into the overall environment and sustainability as a whole.

Hans is committed to exceptional, comfortable design and outstanding construction. As Flynner's Project Coordinator, Hans has a straightforward, hands-on approach: Our clients can expect a lot of discussion and transparency. Hans guides our clients through every step of the process, from design to final details, while working with Flynner's select team of professional designers and construction workers along the way.

Hans also lives up to his sustainability commitment outside the office. He has served as a mentor to 7th and 8th grade students involved in the Future Cities program, and he's currently constructing a off grid cabin in Mackay, Idaho that will augment its own water supply with a rainwater collection system.

Hans' credentials include:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Studies, Boise State University

  • 20+ years in architectural and building industry

  • Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA)

  • Has designed over 120 homes
